Dublin-born Carlo Gébler is the son of writers Edna O’Brien and Ernest Gébler and he spent many summers in his mother's house in Tuamgraney as a child. He is the author of several novels, including
The Dead Eight, his most recent, and a memoir
Father and I. He is also a playwright and film-maker and has been Writer in Residence at Maghaberry Prison in Northern Ireland. Carlo will speak about his life and work in
