One Day opens in Irish cinemas
The film adaptation of the book One Day by David Nicholls opens in Irish cinemas next week. One of the most eagerly awaited films of the year, it charts the ever-changing relationship on the same date over twenty years between two very different individuals played by Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. The book has become a phenomenal word-of-mouth success, and although originally published in 2009, still sits on the Irish bestseller list and was the highest selling British novel of 2010. It has been translated into 31 languages and has spent three months on the New York Times best-seller list.
