A St.Patricks Day Celebration! Enjoy an evening of flamenco culture featuring stunning music and dance from Andalusia at the Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon on Thursday March 17th at 8pm. Al-Andar performs Flamenco in its purest form. The evocative singing of Olayo Jimenez, the pulsing beats of Lucas Gonzalez's guitar, and the passionate dance of Fatima Lucia come together to bring you the unique sensitivity of this old tradition from Southern Spain. Al-Andar is a Flamenco company and school based in Galway and was founded by Fatima Lucia in 1993. Al-Andar Flamenco organizes Flamenco classes in Galway and Clare and performances all over Ireland. Fatima Lucia also teaches at her home studio in the Burrren, County Clare. More info…
