Robert Burns night in Scariff Library
Scottish Poet Dr Fred Freeman recently presented a lively session of folk music and literary discussion at Scariff Public Library on the life and songs of poet Robert Burns. The audience clapped along to the rhythm and beat of Burns’ songs introduced by Dr Freeman in wholly original way. The performance was both a lasting tribute to Robert Burns and to the contemporary folk movement in Scotland. This event was thoroughly enjoyable.
