Beauty of The Burren - Wild Tracks
"The word Burren comes from the Irish word boireann which means rock land. Burren lies in the north west of county Clare. The land is rich in contrast. Green meadows on one side and bare rocks on the other. Although you would not notice at first glance Burren is unique for its lush vegetation. Orchids, wild geraniums and even plants from alpine and Mediterranean areas thrive. It seems too strange for words. Even the pocket-sized perfume industry is doing well here. This is Ireland's oldest perfume factory still in operation. Who would have ever thought of Burren's flowers in a bottle?" Posted on Youtube on the 15th of January 2012 by dreamshot.
