Summer Activities in Scariff Library
Children in Scariff were treated to a week full of fun activities at Scariff public Library running from 23rd to the 27th July. The library held a creative art workshop lead by Isabelle Gaborit along with an exciting Bird Talk presented by T.V. bird expert Jamie Durrant. The library was transformed into a fairy wonderland when staff member Samantha Morrissey entertained children with stories, games and fairy cake decorating. Mia Foley introduced children to the art of felt making with her session “felt bug making” and on Friday 27th July 30 children aged between 8-12 years battled it out at a “Horrible Histories” table quiz lead by staff member Aileen McDonagh. Overall the week was a huge success with approx one hundred children attending.
