Gerard Stembridge at Kilrush Library

Kilrush Public Library recently welcomed Irish writer and director Gerard Stembridge, when he visited there on Saturday 14th September to do a reading from his latest novel, The Effect of Her, followed by a Q&A session. Gerard is the author of three previous novels: Unspoken, Counting Down and According to Luke. He has also written and directed film and television. His credits include "About Adam", the screenplay for "Ordinary Decent Criminal" and he co-wrote "Nora" (a film about James Joyce and Nora Barnacle). He is the co-creator, with Dermot Morgan, of "Scrap Saturday". A very enthusiastic audience thoroughly enjoyed this event.
