"Epic Journeys Ellis Island brings to life the experiences of people who left Ireland around the end of the 19th Century and passed through the Immigration Station at Ellis Island before scattering to all parts of North America to begin a new life. The exhibition is the result of a research project undertaken by Ireland Reaching Out (www.IrelandXO.com) with the support of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as part of the Government’s Emigrant Support Programme. The exhibition has been on display in Tulla, County Clare, since August 2015 and has been warmly received by both the local community and also the extended Diaspora community of Tulla."
